The One Step Men collection is a signature of your personality. Here you will find nothing but essentials with obvious appeal. Like its shirts boasting a well-proportioned mix of prints, or its trousers in comfortable but fitted cuts so they feel just right. The inspirations are numerous, sometimes artistic, sometimes romantic or more rock’n’roll, boasting, once again, a certain openness of mind.
This winter, the One Step Men collection is divided into 3 sections, inspired by different art movements.
Chapter 1, more city, is inspired by Asian art.
In the same wardrobe, city pieces enhanced with details that give a nod to the art of calligraphy or Japanese embroidery.
For the colour range we opted for neutral khaki, off-white and grey marl which are energised with red and blue.
The flagship print of the theme is a Japanese style flower in two colour versions.
Chapter 2 is inspired by the Campus world with revisited codes. You will find tartan check on a shirt and inside the pieces we have slipped “college” stripes for surprising finishes. We have played on classics for the men’s wardrobe over this whole story with “hound’s tooth or tennis stripe” patterns reinterpreted in flock printing on a knit or printed all-over on a raincoat. This wardrobe is energised by the use of bright colours (almost primary) and very intuitive pencilled designs. Traditional “tie” motifs are re-invented geometrically.
Chapter 3, “Left bank Brooklyn” is an immersion in the wonderful world of Brooklyn with its lifestyle, creative artists and contagious energy. The spirit of artists’ studios feeds the theme.
This wardrobe is tinged with a rock-folk influence in reference to the flea markets in Brooklyn in which bargain eclectic pieces are mixed with more rock’n’roll pieces from an on-trend and urban wardrobe.
Colours such as black and grey are warmed by ecru and burgundy tones. Peacock blue brightens the outfit.
